You may be wondering...

How do you powder organic fruit & veg?

We use a low-processing technique called freeze-drying. Here's how it works.

  1. Pick produce at it's ripe, most-nutritious best.
  2. Freeze it within a few hours of harvest.
  3. Pop it into a low-pressure chamber to thaw

That's it. You're left with a completely dry, brittle piece of fruit that preserves all the vitamins, fibre & flavour. When you add water to it, it re-absorbs it to spring back to it's fresh best.

How is powder as good as fresh?

We think it's better almost all the time. Here's why.

Fresh produce is unstable, it starts losing nutrients from the moment it is picked and goes off very quickly. Freeze dried produce is the opposite. It preserves all the nutrition that nature created and lasts for years meaning you have in-season produce whenever you need it.

Why are food state vitamins better?

Ever taken a multivitamin and seen your pee go bright yellow? That’s the B-vitamins passing right through you. Food state supplements are, at least in part, about combatting this. About providing your body with the nutrients that it needs in a way that it is best adapted to digesting and absorbing them.

Rather than trying to provide your body with lab made nutrients that it doesn’t recognise, food state supplements are grown as real food, which makes them the most natural form of supplements available. As they are contained within food substances, the body recognises them as food and is able to utilise them better. There are over 50 scientific studies demonstrating the enhanced absorption of nutrients from food-state form.

How do I make and store them?
